[A couple of boistrous mers are about to ruin a snakedude's day convince a standoffish Stocke to join them for some fun in the sun!]

[Rosch enters the bar and scans the dimly lit area, looking for any sign of Stocke. It shouldn't be that hard to spot a giant snake tail with bright red scales, right?]

Yo, buddy! Where you at?

[If he's not downstairs, then maybe he's holed up in his room? Or wrapped around the furnace? Either way, they're gonna find him and drag him to the beach... whether he likes it or not!]

[Dandy's approach to this is exactly how you'd expect it to be.

He can't say he knows much about Stocke, just whatever Rosch was willing to share with him, but he does know one thing. He really hates snakedudes. Well...two snakedudes piss him off a whole lot. ...And honestly, one of them isn't even around here anymore. So when you get right down to it, he really shouldn't have as much as a beef with this guy as he's pretending he does.

Either way, he's wearing sunglasses and holding a crowbar for unknown, Dandy reasons. Sticking close to Rosch, all he can do is really follow his lead, not as Stocke savvy to have any idea where the naga might be hiding.]

Man, you're not gonna make him come crawling out like that. You need to entice 'em, baby.

[Being an ace alien hunter, Dandy can't help but act like he's totally got this.]

[He also might just want everyone to know he has a crowbar.]

[Rosch and Dandy won't have to go as far as Stocke's room to find him. There's a noise like shifting scales the first time Rosch calls out; if he were still a werewolf, he'd probably have heard it. As it is, Stocke gets to hear Dandy start to yell before the naga pokes his head out over the edge of the stairs.]

[What can he say. The spiraling metal steps get pretty warm in the middle of the day.]

[He also hasn't met Dandy yet. This means his reaction, after he blinks at the other mer, is to give Rosch a 'who dis' look.]

[Since it's Stocke, it looks practically the same as all his other expressions.]

[Naturally, Rosch assumes the crowbar is there in case they need to pry Stocke loose if he decides to coil around the furnace or something, so he doesn't question Dandy bringing it along.]

[He takes one look at the naga and inwardly groans. Of course the guy is wrapped around the staircase. Wonderful. Leave it to Stocke to make Rosch's job that much harder.]

[The mer walks purposefully toward Stocke, ignoring the questioning look.] You're coming with us.

[Because that doesn't look or sound threatening at all...]

[To be fair, that is exactly why Dandy brought a crowbar, snakes are clingy bastards. ...But at the same time, he wouldn't correct someone if they thought he was ready to beat anyone with it.

So it should be no surprise that he totally jumps on Rosch's cue to sound as threatening as possible.]

And you are gonna have a good time.

[He smacks the crowbar a few times into his free hand as he follows one step behind the other mer, apparently ignoring Stocke's question.]

[Stocke looks at Rosch. Looks at Dandy. Looks back at Rosch.]

[Then he rears his torso and slithers up the middle rail of the spiral stairs, ending up draped over the ceiling beams. This is definitely some sort of god bullshit and he is having no part of it.]

[Upside: snake is no longer coiled around the stairs. Downside: the two of them are possibly gonna have to chase him across the ceiling. Which means climbing up there first.]

[As for Stocke? He braces himself on his elbows over a beam and insists,] Explain.

[This is typical "Stocke is trying to wriggle out of social engagements" bullshit and Rosch is having no part of it!]

[He points Very Dramatically at Stocke with the Gauntlet. If this were an Ace Attorney game, his words would be amplified into some cartoony speech bubble with no less than five exclamation points.]

You're not gonna stay cooped up inside for the entire summer, so get your giant snake-ass down here right now!

[If he's gotta climb up there after Stocke, he's going to be Very Unhappy. Fish aren't built for climbing, dammit!]
